In the 1940’s Congress identified that “Safe Harbors” needed to be created along the California Coast.  In 1961 The State of California granted, via Dana Point Tidelands Trust, the area that would eventually become our “Dana Point Harbor” to the County of Orange.  This video is a collection of old home videos that were knitted together.  In addition the last chapter was produced in conjunction with the Army Corps of Engineers who had a significant role in the construction of our Harbor.
