About Us

Welcome to the official web site of the Dana Point Boaters Association. The Association is a not for profit, public benefit California Corporation created with the express purpose of being a recreational boaters advocacy group. The group intends to be a permanent fixture within Dana Point Harbor becoming part of the fabric of the harbor.

While the organization focuses on many issues presented to recreational boaters in Dana Point Harbor one of the more significant efforts will continue to be what the County of Orange refers to as the "Revitalization". The Associations members are boaters who are interested in and committed to helping the; Dana Point Harbor Department, the City of Dana Point, the Department of Boating and Waterways, the South Coast Water District, the California Coastal Commission and others to develop and implement the very best renovation of Dana Point Harbor.

It is truly encouraging all of the ideas that we’ve heard for possible solutions that will make Dana Point Harbor the best place on the West Coast to keep your boat, launch your boat, or just watch boats. It is time to involve all boaters and make sure our needs, wants and ideas are heard and acted on. Together we can have a positive impact.
